IMPACT OF PCI ON MY LIFE AND COMMUNITY:
When I completed high school, I had very good grades in the sciences. Unfortunately, there was no means for me to
further my education. PCI rescued me by awarding me a scholarship to train as a Computer Technician, which had been
my dream since I was in form four. I enjoyed my studies at PCI because they had a very good library with up-to-date
textbooks and qualified staff. My current position as a Network Administrator has permitted me to do more research to
improve on my skills, assist my juniors in their education and also prepare myself to further my studies in Computer
Sciences.
I am proud to think of PCI as a second family for it did what my own family could not do for me. Isaac Newton – one of
our famous scientists – once said, “If I have been able to see far and wide, it is because I stood on the shoulders of
giants.” PCI has been one of my giants, and I will always remember the institute as I progress.
