Names: Deodatus Biche Graduated in July 2003 Department: Data Processing (Nine Months) Present Occupation: A student in the Major Seminary Bambui Other comments: PCI has done quite much for me and it is very evident in my life right now. I did not come to PCI to get myself trained for the job market; I only wanted to obtain knowledge of the computer software as well as hardware, if it was possible. Due to the time I had to my credit, I could not go in for the hardware studies. In any case, I filed in for data processing. By the time I finished my Nine Months studies in PCI, I realized that I had not only learnt data processing; I had gained a lot more. Firstly, I met a very nice family; a family not made up of just one type of people, no, but a large variety of people; staff and students both included. I remember we had Madam Fon as the Mother of PCI – what a complete family that was. Just like any other family, it had black legs also as part of the family. PCI did not throw these away because they were somewhat out of the way but we all remained one family in the hope of getting all on the right path. The people I met have always remained a treasure in my heart. Since I graduated for PCI, I have always been of great help to my church. As I look forward to a life of complete self-giving and self-sacrifice, I, while undergoing formation in Bishop Rogan College (BRC) Small Soppo(a Minor Seminary) and St. John Mary Vianney spiritual formation Centre Bafut I was in charge of the computer laboratory. In BRC I served the community by running the cyber café and I also help to teach computer to the students of the Minor Seminary. In Vianney Centre Bafut, I was completely in charge of teaching computer to my mates. Presently, in the St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary Bambui, I am of appreciable help to individual students. Here I am better placed than other students who do not quite know their way around the computer as a whole. This is so because the time they use to learn these things, I used to learn other things that concern my studies. If the seminary authorities deep it necessary, then I will be able to serve by community with what I learnt in PCI. That is how PCI is helping me so far. |
